We are in the process of redesigning the home page. These are our primary goals:
- Make the home page more active by displaying current activity like replies, appreciations.
- Make the home page location sensitive - so users can view location specific updates/queries or disable it to see everything.
- Updates are notified and loaded with a click of a button which appears when there are new items.
- Updates from people you are following and the people they are following (if there is a tag you are following).
- Latest attachments being added.
This will also in effect combine all the current pages into a single news feed page.
If you have any suggestions or expectations please share them here.

1 Sir, I am contributing in this citeHR since about more than one year and has found the same very educative and helpful to the people working as HRs or working in the field of labour laws in any capacity.
2. However, I have found that from citeHR there is no incentive or encouragement to the seniors or experts who contribute in this cite by recording their views/opinion etc. Therefore, I think, the management may think about encouraging participation by more seniors and experts by recognising their services through some form of certification or incentives etc.

I wonder at what stage of the Maslow's hierarchy applies to experts!! I think, as even people at director level are motivated not just by self-actualisation, our experts and seniors need other form of incentives to contribute.

Yes, the rewards area needs to be something we need to work on. We have always been a platform where people contribute without any expectations - they in return receive the same help from others. Which is why we remain "Free" and anyone coming in, has a vast resource available to them to learn from. However, there are times where the contributions far exceed what others can give in return - such people usually are at a "stage of life" or "state of mind" where such reciprocation doesn't really matter.

But that said, we do intend to identify and categorize members using the data and participation we have from them and highlight the most active members based on tags and city. This will help identify core contributors and experts.

This should help us in two things:

1. If they are consultants - it should help direct more business towards them.

2. It should help new comers identify who to follow - specific to subject areas of expertise/contribution.

We have at times given away conference passes - but they are not something we have an ample supply of. Perhaps once the identification of core contributors is done - conference organizers may find it worth it to offer free passes to top contributors in certain subject areas.

Please do share if you have any other ideas or concerns.

Hello CHR,
It (site home page) will certainly look better - one that site will be user friendly and one can locate or get located in its specifics also.
I am more happy to see reaction of Mr. HK Mehta and your (CHR) positive and spontaneous reply to him. It appears that you were ready to ANSWER and immediately announced free passes to top contributors. I suggest idea of free passes is brilliant and we can begin with this kind of gesture. We can also host HR events and the speakers could be out of contributors posted and selected on a set criteria can be acknowledged better way too.
Best wishes !!

Hi CHR,
The views of Mr. Harsh Kr. Mehta & Mr. RDS Yadav is highly appreciable towards encouragement for knowlege based participation of expertise in the HR/ IR / Labour Acts/Rules.
What I feel that there must be some check & control parameters , so that no tom & harry can write anything /express his / her views without having any knowledge on the subject matter. We come across, n number of CiteHR posts where participants have raised relevant questions and replied were posted irrevevant, which affects the image / reputaion of the cite.
So far as the monetary / incentive part is concerned , let it should be judiciously decided by the CiteHR board members.
Last but not the least ,wishing the CiteHR members, contributors & HR fraternity a very very happy, healthy and prosperous NEW YEAR 2015 .
Warm Regards,
Anil Kumar Sharma
