Dear Seniors,
I would like to know that as per the gratuity act the calculation is last basic pay*no of years in service*(15/26) but one of my friend says as per latest amendment, if any employee completed his/her service more than 10 years the normal calculation is not apply to him/her, the actual calculation is last basic pay*no of years in service*(26/26)
Hence if his statements are correct, can any one show the notification regarding such changes.

Dear Prghr,
Gratuity calculation is still based on 15/26 only regardless of number of years' service. There are demands from Trade Unions to enhance Gratuity by paying one month salary for each year. Even that demand also not related with number of years' service.
