I am having query releted to the company letter head which we use to give offer letter to the new employee.
While doing background verification i have seen one offer letter on zerox of company letter head but authorised signatory is original. so can we consider this letter as authentic ?

Hi Rupali, In my personal opinion it will be valid. It's same like we have zerox of our academic cirtificates duly signed by gazetted officer. it'll work same as original. so in the same way you can consider but only if you have Authorized signature stamp on the zerox. Because signature you don't know exactly it is of that Authorized person or not. But If Authorized signature stamp of that co. is there with signature then it can be trust worthy. Also to make it more clear you can send and email to that co. HR person. Attach this document scanned copy in that email and request them to acknowledge the same. you can get Id of HR person from their co. receptionist or can call to that candidate. He'll provide you. The same i had received from one of my employee future employer. I acknowledged that mail and assured them that this document is duly signed by me. So that is now safe for that verification agency because they got reply from co. authorized mail id. Thanks. will see what other will advice you.
