Hi, I joined as a HR in a start up IT company. Basically im from MSc computer science background. Prior exp into recruitment. Im very much new to this HR field.
Can any one guide me on how to start my career in best way and what i have to do?

what is manpower employed in the company? how old it is?
First, assess from your employer your role clearly and their expectations. Then plan accordingly rode map.
Unless , it is clear, you may not satisfy your employer, on assignments whatever comes in your way.
It may be difficult to resolve all issues you come accross during service because lack of enough expertise in all fields of HR. it may difficult to support from out side in every situation you face. you need to use and understand general sense find solutions to issues.

you need to understand practices followed in the companies around you company. create polices in respect of time and attendance discipline in work area.
with regard to creating record or data of employees, try establish record from CV to offer, and any correspondence in relation development in career. this will help to refer the growth of employee.
cover all employees from statutory obligations, organize entertainment programs and welfare activities, festivities, sports and games, for the same seek budget and a nod for spending from management.
Keep employees always in good mood to contribute good results, this major role of HR.
at present you need not think more, you may introduce procedures as n when required, all the best.
