Hello Rifamail
Whenever you move to another State it is better to change the registration,
unless you do not mind the hassles.
Another state number will be conspicuous when the two wheeler goes on road.
This can invite questions from authorities.
I think normally an NOC is valid for about 6 months.
Nowadays most of the States have put up their websites.
You can get information that you want.

Dear Rifamail,
Though the information on website is available, but my personal experience is that it is full of hassles, additional cost as you will be required to pay the tax in the new state and will have to come back to apply for refund from MAharashtra RTO.
The best thing to do is to sell your bike here and buy a new one in the new state.

Sandeep

Hi,
Please go to the RTO of the new state where you are moving and you may have to pay the Road Tax for your vehicle if you are not Central Govt. Employee. Rest all remains the same.
