1. service rules define the service conditions of any job/service of any establishment. it varies from company to company, pvt-public sectors etc..few have service manual, few have certified standing orders etc..so u have to be bit specific..
2. yes this service rules are also to be authorized by trade union, because the service rules will be binding on both parties, so its related to unions. as in case of standing order, one copy is sent to union president, so that if they don't like any clause in the service rules they can oppose/object before such standing order becomes certified, 15 days time is given .. so its quite important or else problems/dispute may arise as stated under schedule 2 of id act.
3. there are lots of such samples ..plz do use the research button on the top..

Thanks for your comments on my query Mr. Sai Kumar & Mr. Soumik.
The basic purpose for this post was to understand whether a Chamber (covered under Shops and Establishment Act)having Trade Union can prepare Service rules.
And if yes then who will be the addressed employees, the regular working members of Chamber or Trade union employees of the Chamber.
I have used the research button for sample service rule book but was unable to find one so had to request you.
