Recently i have left job, in my previous job i had encashed 165 days of earned leave, in my recent job i had around 180 days of earned leave, i was in my job for 8 years, when the time came for settlement the management told that i am eleigible for 100 days of encashment, and now they are telling as per new rules i will be getting only 50 days of encashment, is it true, please let me know, thanks,

Hi,
Most probably it depends on company to company. They design their own way of HR policy. Let us say for example...in our company we are allowed to pay for maximum 45 days for leave encashment. Where as in previous company i never been paid leave encashment.
Better u utilize those leaves.

Dear friend The EL can be accumulated only up to 30 days as per the Factory Act. Apart from this It purly depend upon the policy of the company. Regards alphonse
