We are pvt. Ltd. Company with present strength of 15 employees. Is it possible to Register for ESI & PF now. Or is it mandatory to wait till the strength becomes 20.

HI First please update what type of the organisation. Now its not mandatory for 20 employees. As per recent amendment if the employee strength reaches 10 then ESI & PF are mandatory

The eligible criteria for a shop & estt. varies from 20 to 10 from state to state, where the notification u/s. 1(5) of the ESI Act given for a particular state.
First u clarify whether ur company comes under Factory or estt.
In case of establishment, in case ESI reduces the no. of persons of an estt. from 20 to 10 in ur state vide Gazzettee, then ur unit will be covered. Otherwise u have to wait till u touch 20..............

As per my knowledge every thing and any thing can possible if you are really want to enroll your employees under social security schemes like ESI, EPF and others.
But one thing you have to verify that your premises notified or not under ESI because ESI is Medical service benefit.

I think it depends on organisation. Your company becomes eligible for ESIC and PF when there are 10 employees working with aid of power or 20 without the aid of power but then even these employees must be eligible
so if 15 employees of yours fulfills the criteria then its possible for you to register under ESIC and PF

You can avail voluntary coverage for your employees in PF.
But in ESI you have to wait till the employees strength up to 20. Once you are reached the employees strength 19 you have to start to apply for ESI.
