Dear Indu,
The PL/EL (Prevailage Leave and Earned Leave)is same,as per the act for every 20 days you work you will be provided with 1 day of earned leave, so in a year it is 18 days per year and it is en cash-able.The unused PL/EL can be carry forward to next year and the capping depends upon the company to company policy, this may be 30 days maximum,45 days maximum.

Dear Member,
Pl accumulation is depend on the notice period. If company given notice perod for one month then pl can be accumulated for one month because when the employee is leaving the organisation and he is not completeing notice period or company is releiving the employee immediatley whatsoever reason that time same will be adjusted.
This is totaly depend upon the policy of the company, some company is not accumulating PL for next year and balance will be encashed in the last month of year or financial year because employees are taking leave any time and the organisation is suffering their work.
