Dear priya_76
Welcome to CiteHR.com !!
Considering the effort you have put in by posting these three posts in separate thread; (which has now been merged); you could have as well DRAFTED a Thank-You note on your own; and put it up before your boss/reporting officer. It is a well-known fact that seniors correct/modify the drafts according to their own style/preference.
You can start with :
"Dear ______
We thank you for your Diwali card/gift and wishes. We also .......";
and concluding it with
"We look forward to a long and rewarding association with you..... "
Warm regards.

Dear Priya,
Saw your conversation with Mr.Raj.To the note i would like to say that in this corporate world the moment you add "Ji" after any one's name it look awkward.Be careful next time.
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Priya
While dealing with Indian businesses, especially those which are family owned; it is customary to suffix Ji after the name/surname, as a mark of respect.
In fact, while teaching International business in B-school, this is pointed out as a peculiarity of India, just as there are for other countries like Japan, Middle-East, China etc.
Even if you do not type it, your boss may add it with ink (if he is so inclined), while signing in the note.
[I presume you are sending physical/printed notes and not e-mail.]
Warm regards.
