Hi Devaiah
Good on you for setting up your own business, i am not sure of the demands regarding consultancy where you are but here in the UK there are a lot of them, i would suggest you specialize in particular areas and then do a bit of research on what other companys charge for those services, your cost structure may be a bit of a mixture depending on what service you are providing, if it is training then i would charge a set daily amount with material costs on top, this will ensure you know what you are getting money wise regardless of the amount of people who attend your event, if it is more of a personnel service such as advice then an hourly rate would probably be more appropriate.
hope this helps

hello Devaiah
It gives me immense of pleasure to note that you are interested to become enterprener
As you aware that for every business u need capital and that resource should not cripple u at any worst case happens
As per the RBI directions banks can lend a loan amount of upto 5 lakhs to setup a small scale industry (SSI) with out any collateral securities.
You need to register your industry at your district industries center for this may cost you Rs 100/- , Then prepare a project report and approach any bank. as usual all bank managers are prejudiced and has least technical knoweledge the first thing they will discourage u from doing business and ask you to go for any employment, also they will scare you by telling all kind of cock and bull stories, These bank monkers will disburse loan to a medium volume industrialist who keep a good track record of very big outstanding liabilities to bank (This is the root cause of our industrial virus) Never listen to all these mathematicians u go ahead with your plans, you can also avail land for your SSI from a local industrial area at very substantial amount. Your repayment of loan start from the 12 th month after production, your product also avail concessions in ST <CST and AST or VAT
District industry center also helps you to get trained in any specialised project
Find out a suitable market and sell your product
Incase of worst thing happens , you can file your case to BIFR or SIFR who go thruogh your case and wave off some of your liabilities to bank
India Government had provided enough plans to flourish SSI but some of the officials such as bank managers never allow INDIA to flourish
so GO ahead and set up small scale industry
Remember SINTEX water tank company had started their business as SSI

Hi Karunadasp,
I am also in a process of setting up a new manpower consultancy. So the information provided by you was quite useful. Thanks a lot for that. Can you also tell me in detail as to how to go about the registration of my consultancy. From where do we get the forms required for that and what all do we need to do further? Please help me. I need this information very immediately.
Thanks a lot in advance. Looking to hear from you soon.
