That really is a good one...
I've seen & experienced that most people end up in a job very different from their edcuational back ground. I have observed that at times these people turn out to be very good in whatever they do.
I've myself as an example in this case. I am a graduate in chemistry with a Management degree in Marketing. I had a flair for IT and ended up as an SAP Consultant, couldn't enjoy being as a consultant too long. Today I am working as Head HR in a Hospital. My knowledge of IT has helped me attend to the MIS needs of my institution, my exposure to Science has enabled me to understand what my colleague mention in their medical profession and my management know how enables me understand the business needs of my management. So, now my superiors feel I am good at what I am doing and I am happy about it.
I've various such examples in my institution. Basically these people end what they are doing and finally the output turns out to be really good.

Hi Nithya,
I agree to this view.
I am an Arts graduate. After my graduation I joined for garment industry into sewing section as an executive. There I was not interested so came back from that company & learnt computers. Then in same industry in other organisation I joined as computer operator. There I got promotion as EDP Executive & learnt hardware & networking from training institute. I got better offer in other company as EDP Incharge. From there after 4 years of experience i shifted other company but there I did a big mistake by selecting that company. in just 4 months I left the job due to bad work environment. Then I was jobless for some time & I associated with my cousin of his consultation business. There I was taking care of payroll, Sales Tax & other taxation & Compliances. From there I got into on good IT company as Manager Admin/HR. Now I am pursuing even MBA from Correspondence.
Now my technical skills helps me to recruit technical candidates, H/w & networking knowledge will help me to recruit system admin & network engineers, Knowledge of taxation & accounts will help to recruit accountants. I am taking care of all the admin & HR activities.
