Have gone through the reply, seems the authority itself is confused therefore mystified. If this the reply from the EPFO PIO then it was better to do googling on the topic!!

The provident fund authority do not want to give the clear option to the HR fraternity. I asked them give the latest circular and notification they refused it with Golmol answer

So nicely you have answered all queries asked by candidates having issues.
I am working in a good CMMI Level 5 organization since last 4Yrs. My head asked me to resign as they said they don't have any project suits with my tech and timings. I was only few weeks pregnant that time, so it was too early to tell them , i asked them that i want to stay here only; without telling them that i am pregnant. I dropped resign mail next day under pressure as they called me again to do so.
As they have taken my interest of work, after a week only they have allocated me in a project. So it was good that i got work i started work in the project (got many work appreciation emails during my work) then i asked them about my stay and told them that i am pregnant and cannot move to any other firm at this time.
They assured me that as you got project so we can extend you here so no problem, still they have not given me any email or any written confirmation on that, time moved on (it was a three months notice i was serving). I was pretty sure that i can continue here (though it gave me lot of stress even as i have to manage my financial, medical etc things). They asked me to drop an email that i want to extend my stay in same organization only, i dropped that email but didn't received any reply on that. Only before 5 days of my last working day i got to know that i need to leave on my defined release date and have to give KT of my project to somebody.
Then i rush to my office HR and raised my concern and dropped them an email regarding this all.
can you please clarify anything on my case.
As i really want to an action on this matter. If they didn't have any work then how they have allocated me in a project only after taking my resignation?? Do i legally entitled to take my maternity benefits etc?
