This is to inform you that the Labour Welfare Fund Act is a State Act. Most of the States have enacted this Act & also have framed its Rules.Therefore, first tell us where you unit is functioning.

I am working in PSU as HR executive. We go with the TamilNadu Labour Welfare Act.
Here the Employees(worker Category) will get the benefits like:
free tailoring classes for their dependants.
free resort accomadation during vaccation time
for this every year the employer's contribution is 10 and worker side it is Rs5.

Dear Sudheer,
In your A P State the annual contribution for employee is Rs. 2 while the employer is to contribute Rs.5 i.e. total Rs.7 which is to be deposited in January. For more detail you may go through your State Labour Welfare Fund Act.

According to the latest information available with me the rate of L W F contribution for employees in Haryana State is Rs.5/- pm & for that of employer it is Rs.10/- pm While for that of Punjab State it is Rs.1/- pm in case of employees & Rs. 2/-pm for employers.
