Hi,
I have 3yrs + experience in HR, currently working with a software company in Mumbai. I want to know whether there are some good institutes in Mumbai which offers part time training in SAP. I would like to continue my job and at the same time get trained in SAP (HR).
Can any one please help me on this?
Thanks

Hey Mate,
As you have mentioned that you have 3 years of Functional Experience, Its better you do the full time Course, ie Certification ..
Yes the Course Fee is High But it will be a Good Investment.
If you are doing the SAP HR course from outside, i dont think it will help you much.[As 99% of them wont get you the job and wont cover 100% topic]
Its not easy to get into SAP HR.So if you go for certification you can be on the safer side.
One more thing,If your Company is into SAP ,Talk to them whether you can be moved into that.If thats the case prefer doing SAP Course frm not recognized companies.[Once you move into SAP you can get the Inhouse Training also].
Hope this will help you.

Hi lakshmi
The SAP market is hot ...BUt that doesnt means Everyone WHo has done training will land up in Good Companies.
In SAP platform Keep one thing in mind "Nobody looks into which company you work for but people look into what all projects you have done .( In SAP Implementation,Upgradation,Rollouts, Maintanence and Support Projects are there...The first 3 things adds value to your CV and the last two...[ No one looks into that]
Your Long term career Depends on the Start you get...Be patient n wait for the chance .Because No one Need Freshers and they Want Experienced chaps ....
If you are doing certification they will assist in placements but then also it depends on the Demand in the market and your ability to crack the interview.
Cheers

SAP jobs are in good demand, but what is the requirement of companies? They look for: Candidates should have domain experience and SAP Project exposure with good concept knowledge. Most of the aspirants opting for SAP Course will never check whether they are knocking the right door or not, in the sense that, they should get SAP Project exposure in ASAP Methodology. Because Project exposure is compulsory to get a job in SAP Field. If you need any information in this regard, E-Mail to:
