I am happy to share that our CiteHR Hyderabad Forum "Hyderabad HR Hungama" held on 10th Sep’06 between 2.30 to 7pm went on very well and a runaway Hit!!!.

The highlights are:

- Total number of participants: 42

- Due to overwhelming response, we had to change the venue to a bigger one only before night but members cooperated very well

- Entire event went on schedule as per our agenda.

- One-on-one introduction itself took around 90 minutes.

- Majority of the people are from IT Industry, apart from Pharma and Service Industry.

- 3/4 Very senior people also joined. We look forward for their continuous guidance and support. Their experience will be utilisted in the forthcoming meets, to get some insight.

- All the members participated very actively in the Games been played finally reaching a very serious HR discussion.

- All the members followed the guidelines we have given very professionally.

- Thanks Anita for anchoring the entire event very well.

- All the Volunteers have done outstanding job in making the event success.

I definitely feel sorry for the people who could not make it to attend the meet. They missed a great opportunity. However, all those members are requested to join next meet, which will be announced shortly.

Will send a detailed mail along with snaps very soon.

Thanks everyone to make this event happen. This is only the first step…we need to achieve a lot and make this group grow further.

Hyderabad has created a bench-mark, and I am really curious to see which city breaks the record.

Thank you CiteHR for giving us this opportunity.

Guys,
Remember!!! As 9/11 remained as most important date in the history of US, 9/10 will remain as the most important date in any CiteHR meet. Because 42 members of CiteHR met on 9/10 which is also the longest (in duration) meeting ever by any CiteHR forum.

Dear all
HR professionals from different organizations in Hyderabad created a history by organising a Cite HR Members Meet.
Thanks to Prabhakar and the Volunteers who made this possible.
One of the themes for this forum is to develop a platform where HR People at junior/ middle level/senior level in industry interacts with each other so closely - can present their ideas and share their knowledge without any inhibitions-ego's- superiority complex and all those so-called negative attitudes.
All - like-minded people especially the CITE HR members from Hyderabad who have a passion to share their knowledge and to proceed further and take this forum ahead for the benefit of HR Respect are cordially invited for the next meet which falls on second Sunday the 8th of October 2006.
Its really an amazing event. Wish to see and interact with many more HR Professionals on 8th of October 2006 between 2 PM to 5 PM.

Really great job done! I am really impressed with the way the meet was organized - the volunteers deserve a big round of applause.

CiteHR's goal is to promote the vision of a better organization through properly formulated HR policies and good company ethics. HR plays an important role in deciding how an employee feels about his work environment - improve that and we have more productivity, happier employees and better companies. We hope that in the future we will be able to make the lives of employees in different organizations much better through promotion of ethical and good practices and the offline meets will go a long way in doing that.

My thanks to everyone who worked to make this meet possible - it's a fantastic start. I am going to form a committee of volunteers to give them some authority to organize these meets and also play a more important role in the development and administration of the forum.

One of the key areas is identification of knowledgeable members and awarding them proper ranks - Archana had brought this issue forward and I think she is right in saying that we need a more streamlined way of approaching this - so that no valuable contribution is missed.

Warm regards,

Dear All Cite HR Hyderabad members,

I am really thrilled to read the feedback on our HR Hungama which was well organised and also well received by the members. Members are surprised to find so many professionals joining their hands for the occasion inspite of its being the First such gathering. As Prabhakar has rightly said that we have really set a Bench Marking for others to emulate our learnings. It is suggested that the learnings from discussions we had be put on cite so that others also would follow the same in a better manner. My congratulations to all members and wish to see all for the next meet. It is heartening to note that cite admn is taking an important decision to empower the volunteers which is a welcoming gesture.

My suggestion to other cite HR members going to organise such events in their cities is that let the agenda of meet be very informal and first try to bring more nos. together as at this stage gathering is more important than other issues. Let there not be any idea of having edge over other forums or members which is not a healthy trend in knowledge sharing. Hope you all understood my message.
