Greetings
I stumbled upon this forum when I was surfing for some information for my project. Found it to be useful especially to establish networks and share experiences.
As an introduction, I'm a HR executive with a multinational and I'm based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm currently attached to the capability development unit. The company that I work for has more than 20,000 employees and operate in more than 35 countries.
I like reading, writing, travelling, arts & crafts.
Cheers. :D

Hi all,
The kind of work that we do can be summarised as institutionalising the capabilities required to run the business, be it technical or non technical capabilities. We look at the respective business sectors and build the capability rulers from there, aligning with the business goals. We also look at internal resources and assess our people based on the rulers. In that sense, it's part of talent management.
There are other scope of work for the unit as well, e.g. mentoring, profiling of Management positions, competencies and career management.
Rgds.
