Hi Folks,
It was GREAT meeting all of you on Friday (29th August, 2008). I also thank all of you for giving me a patient hearing!!! My stroke bank is overflowing!!! :) :) :)
The arrangements for the meet was GREAT!!! Thanks to all the organizers. I understand and appreciate the effort behind it.
It was great listening to John and Ramesh. As Ramesh pointed out uring the course of his presentation, we never know what triggers from these interactions!!!! My resolve to learn another language has strengthened Ramesh...Thanks to you :)
Message to John: JE from an experienced person was at the right time for me since my Position Descriptions are in place now!!! Thank You for your valuable inputs.
It is very comforting to know that there are a group of people who may be going through the same experiences that you are and are willing to share their experiences......Getting to meet all of you was a great experience and I am already looking forward to the next meet!!!
Cheers!!!

Hello Geetha,

Ladies first - following this - I was waiting for one of you to write about our 2nd meeting. I also felt, may be why no posts? - the arrangements went wrong or did it became too tiring that even after one or two days no posts. Jokes apart, it was my pleasure and am sure all the others to have a gathering to put face to the names we read each time.

John, very interesting to listen to your presentation and interactions. It was very kind of you to have taken time out from your busy schedule and offered us your valuable experience and guidance on Job Evaluation and how it evolved and continue to evolve.... Thank you Ms. Bruncha for volunteering to invite your CEO to share knowledge and expertise from a professional angle.

Geetha, Transactional Analysis, the topic you presented to us became more transparent with your simple, clear and convincing presentations. One danger, now with that - I am thinking of TA aspects to all actions coming in front of me. This outlines, the value of your presentation.

And thanks to all other for the interactive discussions held during the meeting.

And last but not the least, those who committed to attend and missed, it is a costly miss - for you in terms of Knowledge sharing opportunity you missed and for us those who attended, in terms of increased expense share we had to incur because you dropped out.

Looking forward to more interactions here and wishing you all a blessed month of Ramadan.

Hi All,
This is Narayanan Kutty (rekhamaniauh).
It was nice to see people from the HR Fraternity across UAE gather at the meet.
The presentations from John, Ramesh and Geeta were simply brilliant. Although first time at the meet i felt 3 hours were too less for such a gathering.
Hopefully next time when we meet, we will have more participants and have much more interaction amongst the members with regard to the challenges being faced by the HR fraternity across UAE.
To summarize, a well organized meet and feel great to be amongst such brilliant HR professionals.
Regards,

Dear All
Greetings.
Its over 10 days now we met in our last meet. Inspite of so many reminders and followups there were some members who still on confirmation from their side were not able to make it to the meeting. Few of them were very considerate enough to inform about their unavailibility.
But its very disheartening to see some members who did not even bother to send a single mail of opology. The more you expect the more you get disheartened. But as Managers and into HR field where we try to improve employee performance and are flag bearers of a Motivatdd workforece. Cant we be more responsible. Are we not accountable for our non-responsiveness for some event that we had Oursleves committed ?
