Hey Sid,
well i'm no HR manager...but yes i do hav views onit...mayb u could use.....
Lets start from where i learned abt this....HLL...u mst hav heard abt it...a friend once told me that HLL had a tie up with TOMCO and they merged into hll....so wht happened in HR...the same thing- strtegic synergisation.....and while this goes on...one thing came up....curruption...Y.....well coz the ppl from tomco were not up to mark for the job(they were 55yr olds with a family to maintain and jst had a good raise and sought this opportunity to go ahead and win-win....) wht i'm trying to say is that, i can only see a through relationship between wht happened and y it happened to the no. of ppl the managers supported in their family.
This question tells the employer whether u will b facing troubles bcoz of ur joint family or nuclear family(i like joint family....but an IT HR person said he prefers nuclear family workers)
The question shd also b asked on the amt of money that is saved or invested by the family for future use? and how many earning members are there in the family? etc...
Questions on the family health could also help u diagnose health related issues that are prevalent in the household or mayb in the future with ur mayb employee...
then u could ask on issues which u consider vital and will not harm his feelings.......though i dnt supose to include questions on caste and religion...its a bit sickening...really
I hope this helps.....sorry for the spelling errors...plz dont mind and hope this helps.....and also sorry for the any mistakes...u cant expect all correct from a bcom 1st yr student....Cya
Take care and rite back if u need more...
