Hi Jasmine

Campus Recruitment is the way to get people when u r looking for fresh talent at lower cost and in very short span of time.

it helps to get the people who r energised and have zeal to work

irt helps u to negotite the pay pavckage more librealy

to work fore so acquired have comparitively more mobility and flexibility to work

moreover u always have an option of visiting the best schools with good track record and thus getting good peole without waisting time as ur search here is more specific and focussed

Employee refereal as i told u is the way to get people through ur employees here it is to be kept in m9ind that only those preople ho r hapy with ur org will recommend the newcomers. so it will increase ur loyal and satisfied work strength

employee reffered new entrant will find it easier to work and one is not totaly strange to the place & work environment. The word of mouth of the old employee will help him to get setteled

It also helps to deal with work force diversity issues

It has a benifit that we can easily craete an ebnvironment of peer pressure and peer charisma

It involves low cost and lesser lead time it is internal and limited way of recruitment

Employeement agencies can be employeed whan u have plenty of time to get the talent

u r to use it wen u r to employee larger number of people as the cost involed is high

of course u will have to use multifold seveing process to get the best as the job is advertised to a widr grp.;

this helps to build brand name of ur company as more n more people will com to know about thr recruitment drive

Pls ignore spelling mistakes as i am in hurry

prayers

Jasmine,
You can run a survey through the recruiters in the organization finding out what source works well at different levels of experience and then analyse data.
Let me know if you have questions.

RECRUITMENT PIANNING

The first stage in the recruitment process is planning. Planning involves the

translation of likely job vacancies and information about the nature of these jobs into a set of objectives or targets that specify the (i) number and (ii) type of applicants to be contacted.

Number of contacts: organizations, nearly always, plan to attract more

applicants than they will hire. Some of those contacted willbe uninterested,

Unqualified, or both. Each time a recruitment programme iscontemplated,

One task is to estimate the number of applicants necessary to fill all

vacancies with qualified people.Type of contacts: This refers to the type of people to be informed about job opening. The type of people depends on the tasks and responsibility involved and the qualification and experience expected. These details are available through job description and job specification.

Strategy Development: once it is know how many and what type of recruits are required, serious consideration needs to be given to

Make or buy employees, technological sophistication of recruitment and

Selection devices, geographic distribution of labor markets comprising job

Seekers, sources of recruitment and sequencing the activities in the

Recruitment process.

Internal Recruitment: internal recruitment seeks applicants for positions

from those who are currently employed internal source include present

employees, employee referrals, former employees, and former applicants.

External Recruitment: external sources far outnumber the internal methods.

Specifically, sources external to an organization are professional or trade

associations, advertisements, employment exchange,

College/university/institute, placement services, walk-ins and write-ins,

consultants, displaced persons, radio and television, acquisitions and merger and competitors.

so this information is very useful for u as it give u that how the cost can be reduce and also which is best way to recurite the candidate and company get right candidate for right job. if u need more than please mail me also if i am not right so please correct me by providing information to eachother we learn a lot by doing this and this citehr is play a imp role.
