Hi Rajat,

Thanks for starting this thread. It has been a marvelous journey and I hope we'll continue on the learning path for years to come. I think I can remember each of those members mentioned by Rajat giving me some piece of advice about how to improve the forum - some have pushed me to do better when I got lazy :icon1: And I have enjoyed all of that and more.

Ten years from now I can't imagine what technology would do this medium of communication but i know things will always move forward when people come together and do the very thing makes us human - our ability to teach and pass on knowledge in one form or the other. As long as there are people willing to share, to teach, to discuss we'll always find new ways to join hands.

I hardly get any credit for this website - and I mean it in the most humble way. Okay, I'll take credit for keeping it running smoothly but that hardly is the foundation of this forum.

It's not even the immense amount of data collected over the years - it's the people who have come together and joined hands. Someone wise once said that "If I were founding a university I would begin with a smoking room; next a dormitory; and then a decent reading room and a library. After that, if I still had more money that I couldn't use, I would hire a professor and get some text books."

I guess all we did was create that smoking room without the smoke.

Long way to go... lots of things to do… Have fun in life.

Warm regards,

CHR

hi CHR,
Thanx a million for starting this CiteHr. I too stumbled on it quite recently and am so addicted now that spend considerable 1 hour despite my busy schedule browsing. While traveling yesterday i just had a stray thought what if i had a chance to meet you, Adnan, Rajat, Dr Prageetha, Dr Manisha, Swastik, Autmnleaf, Bala...................... and all the regular contributers!!!!!!!! How would it be? Give a thought on this. We should have more regular debates on issues and someday in future why not have a CiteHr get together?

Hi Friends,
I join Kusum in saying that it would be better we have CiteHR get-together, i know not all can meet together, but atleast the one's in their respective states / cities, like AP(hyderbad), MH (Mumbai) etc, so that we can meet and learn a lot from each other.
Or may be we can have the contacts of our friends based on their regions.
Just give a thought on this.

Hi Friends,
I was expecting some responses on this (get-together of the respective regions or atleast the contacts to be in touch). Don't anyone of us wants to meet anybody in person :?:

Dear All,
This site is really gr8. I wish to thank all for their contribution. I sincerely hope, this is much more interactive and informative than Management Bodies and newsletter.
I would only request the CiteHR Moderator to introduce and highlight social issues.
