Dear All,
Before i could put any query regarding the leave policy. I got a great amount of valuable information from your all.
first of all would like to thank for the same. But i still would be requiring information from you all.
I have one query related to encashment of previlege leaves. Suppose we make a policy that 15 PL/EL shall be considered
1. After completion of one year service, one is entitled for PL
2. if leaves taken together for 6 days, shall be considered as PL
3. total leaves that can be accumulated are 15 X 3 = 45 (for three years) and extra shall be lapsed.
4. leaves shall be encased at the time of termination of service.
now request for understanding on the following
Refer Point 1 - when we say after completion of one year, then next year the leaves to be granted would be 15 or 30, as last year PL leaves have not be given, it means that first year of employement only SL (7) and CL (8) are being allowed. Does this goes contrary to any legislative law/labour law/ shop establishment act.
Refer point 3 - suppose an employee has got the max. PL accumulated and at the time of withdrawal from service he is required to give one/two month's notice or one/two month's salar in lieu of then can he leave the organisation at that point of time since he has got those leave bank available with him
Please let me know any other repurcussion that can arise w.r.t. the leave policy
regards,
loveleen
