For the accom provided by your company, there will a be deduction in your payslip, is it right?
If that is the case, before such deduction is your gross pay, your HRA as per your payslip counts. 50% of ur basic or 50% of ur HRA whichever is lesser will be taken for calculation for ur rent.
hope i hv answered, if not pls get back.

Ibrahim,
There is no deduction in the payslip, site accommodation will not be shown in the payslip, its out of CTC....
I agree with vivek, but when i checked with tax consultant, he says the site accommodation charges will be perks and HRA will not be taxable as per the norms.

Hi Sai, Just a point to add further to what your CA communicated.. Either you can provide a site accomodation or HRA but NOT both..as it is not correct norms as per the IT Act. Regards, Rajat

Dear Sai
All replies to your query is not correct and mis leading. First of all there can not be both that HRA is given in pay slip and accommodation is also provided by the company. If this is the case then HRA given in the pay slip would be taxable and 10% of your gross salary would be added to your salary as perqs.
