Dear my lovelly members of CITE HR Forum
Here i am putting a situation Where i need your sugestion.
Actually i am working in an organisation as a HR manager. But problem is that some candidates applying for our organisation for the HR Trainee post but having hr as their minor specialisation in their MBA.
SO i would like to know wheather is is required to give importance only to those candfidates who have HR only as a major specialisation ,or organisation also can hire the candidates having hr as the minor specialisation and marketing or finance as major specialisation.
Also please help me some of the HR aspirants are asking me wheather they can make a career in Human Resource by taking HR as a minor specialisation in future in dual specialisation case.
And candidates or student having HR as a minor specialisation in their dual specialisation case can apply for the post for public sector undertakings like NALCO,NTPC,SAIL or HPCL etc........
Please inform and clear my doubts.
Thanks from Ashis

sir,
my suggestion is that, you appoint to those condidate who has major specialisation in hr b'cos they learn more than those condidate who have minor specialisation in hr.
to promot the philosophy of HR it is right action to appoint who have major hr.
if they have HR for gov. sec. so they apply in gov. sector.

Honestly speaking,in normal circumustances, it will be appropriate that you prefer candidates with MBA in HR as major subject but dont neglect a candidate who shows excellent temperament for a HR job . Infact I am aware of so many MBAs specially the girls doing excellent job in HR though their specialisation is in other subjects. All those people who are good in dealing with people and enjoy it can do well in HR job
