We are having Team of 100 People all over India,
1) What kind of Data, we must have before building a HR Deptt?
2) Till date all compensation related issues had been taken care by MD only.
3)How a HR deptt can take place in this picture?

1)How will people feel comfortable with HR manager, whom they never met even, when other side is female? How does a HR help them so that can they feel comfortable? They can suspect, as he or she belongs to mgmt, they can compliant to Mgmt.

you have not mentioned the size of your organization. based on that i can suggest you immediately the entire HRD department chart linking with individual work profiles (i.e. what is to be done by each HR executive)
