Hi,
The best way to handle the Labour Department officers is to be in touch with them and taking them into confidence.Should visit their office and sometime call them over a cup of tea/lunch in your office.
It is my experience that once you give them proper respect they reciprocate. It is not always money but your tact of handling these guys

Hi Dilip,
Thxs for views. I m doing same despite I am finding difficulties. Our company policy is not allowing any kind of monetary talk and labour officers only talk for that. what should I do? I am like bread/roti in between labour officer(Chakla) and our officers(Belana). Pls elaborate your experience keeping in mind of helping me.
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
I have handled Industrial relations for almost 15 years and this has been my style.
Kindly let me know is yours a manufacturing org or service organization and in which area
First you must understand what are the issues for which you have to pay for (if they are asking for money). Are you really violating any labour law. if it so, then you better be careful. If it is not so, why should you indulge in these things. O
Secondly you have to take into account the fact that once you start paying money to these guys, there is no end.
My advice to you will be NEVER NEVER INDULGE IN THIS KIND OF BARGAIN WITH LABOUR OFFICER.
You can contact me on my cell 09810111326 for further clarifications
