I am working for a legal firm in Karnataka who are into corporate law. Our firm started in October 2004.
We are 5 salaried employees and 4 associates.
My query is, whether the legal firm is liable for professional tax. Should we register and get the certificate. If yes, sine we are registering this year, should we pay the professional tax since the commencement of the firm or can we pay the tax from hereafter.
secondly, can i the professional tax slab for karnataka.
