Hi, I recently joined a new org where BGV is taking place and they asked for service history. My previous employer to save money even on multiple request did not deduct PF. Recently they increased the size of org with 120+ employee and started deducting PF. The issue is they mentioned my joining date from 1st of Sept instead of 1 st of Jan which is the actual joining date. I already had PF account before joining my previous org. I have good relationship with the previous manager.
What can be done in this scenario to prevent BGV failure even in future cases?

Dear Professional
Greetings
Eventhough your joining letter has got 1st September mentioned on the letter , Your actual pay slip would have started from 30th of JAN , so there is nothing to worry if you can produce the Salary slips and the bank statement where your salary is credited which will be an additional support document to provide your clear your BGV at any point of time .
Further you can ask your Old company to provide you the work experience letter which will mention the actual date of joining and the date of reliving . Which will also be an additional document
Hope you are clear now.
Further if any querry feel free to get in touch

I have relieving letter with correct date of exit and date of joining. I have actual bank statement with correct salary credit throughout. I also do have payslips. But only thing I am worried about is if my current employer asks about why pf service history is wrong(i am also not excluded employee as my first job created pf but base salary above 15k). Is there anything legal proof which I can get from my last employer which validates even over my pf service history(assurance for any bgv even 10 years down the line)? Also, what is the reason I should give to my future employers if they ask the same question?
