My previous role was an Intern for a MNC, for 6 months. However, I resigned in the 4th month, given the manager's bad behavior. even though my last working day is 8th of the month, full salary got credited at the end of the month. I didn't noticed this until the HR called me after 4 days and said excess salary was credited as the HR dept has not informed the finance dept. they asked me to refund the excess and i agreed to do so. But due to my negligence, i didn't checked that the NEFT transaction was failed and even the hr didn't called me for long time. Now the hr is threatening me to blacklist in national HR portal and it will damage my career.
To my understanding, there are no deductions for me like tax or PF, nor a NSR registration requested by the employer. So, I want to know whether, is there any unified portal for tracking the candidature of a person ? if so, and will they report, how bad it will be for my future ?
