If an employee resigns and serves 1 months Notice period as per the terms and conditions of service but their LWD happens to be a Friday. Are Saturday and Sunday (end of 1 month notice period) included in computing the salary? or the salary is calculated till Friday, technically the last working day?

Hi,
If the LWD falls on a week end Employer at his discretion either keep the relieving on Friday or Monday based on work. But mostly employers tend to relieve on Friday. In such scenario salary to be paid till the last working day only (Friday)

Hello,
If employee's last working day falls on Friday salary to be processed till the LWD (Till Friday) Please note that there's no rules and regulation to process salary for Saturday/Sunday or any other holiday. You have to calculate their salary till his/her last working day.

its a common thing for joining and leaving of any employee for example sharing you both case for better understanding-
For Joining- you gave an offer letter to an employee to join on 01st may and after releasing the offer letter you and employee both were ideas about the Holiday on 01st may then he will join on 02nd may . So will you count the present for making salary from 01st or from 02nd. ?obviously we will count the present days from 02nd May.
For Separation- . Person resign and give a notice period and his last working days was just before any holidays or well-off, if person continue to after the hliday or weekly-off then they will be count for their salary process otherwise payment would be made till working no any holiday or off will count for wages making.
