I am Shaurya, currently working as an Assessor/Examiner in the Skill Development sector.
My Assessment Body or company has listed me as an on-roll assessor on the portal, but they have actually engaged me as a Freelancer Assessor through a signed contract. I do not receive a monthly salary; rather, I am compensated on a per-assessment basis.
Recently, they processed my ESIC. My question is: Are freelancers eligible for ESIC coverage?
