Can the intimation of "FORM A" Notice of Opening under the Payment of Gratuity Act to the Labour Office can be submitted post 30 days?

Notice of opening, change, or closure of the establishment Under The Payment Of Gratuity Act

(1) Within thirty days of the rules becoming applicable to an establishment, a notice in Form ‘A’ shall be submitted by the employer to the controlling authority of the area.

(2) A notice in Form ‘B’ shall be submitted by the employer to the controlling authority of the area within thirty days of any change in the name, address, employer, or nature of business.

(3) Where an employer intends to close down the business he shall submit a notice in Form ‘C’ to the controlling authority of the area at least sixty days before the intended closure.

Hi . What happens if we submit the form a later 30 days is my question. Pls elaborate whether the establishment can submit Form A even after a year of opening to the authority

This is an intimation. in most cases they will not hassle you. Many people have not filed at all, and I have not heard of any action taken one them.
