I joined a company 5 years back, accepted the offer and went to work for just one day because I had some personal issues and I informed them that I couldn't continue, now I got the offer from the same company will this affect my joining?

Not likely from the records but some staff members may recognise you to be a familiar face. Unless somebody confronts you it is better to keep quiet. But think of a convincing answer if you are asked.
