Contribution by Employee
- Male empployee has to contribute 10% or 12% of his
basic salary.
- woman employee has to contribute 8% of her basic salary for the first 3 years. Thereafter, it becomes 10% or 12% her basic salary.
Contribution by your employer
- Employer has to contribute an amount equal to 10% or 12% of your basic salary towards EPF.
Basic rate of EPF
1.Employee’s Provident Fund (EPF): 3.67%
2.Employee’s Pension Scheme (EPS): 8.33%
3.Employee’s Deposit Link Insurance Scheme (EDLIS): 0.50%
4.EPF Administration charges: 1.10%
5.EDLIS Administration charges: 0.01%
