Good Morning I have queries regarding election holiday . Our factory is located in Karnataka some of our employees belong to Telangana recently election has done in Telangana employees are asking for holiday shall we consider holiday for them or not. for us Karnataka act will apply pl suggest.

There is no mandatory provision to grant holiday like this. Paid holiday is constituency centric and employees who are attached to units outside the constituency which is going to poll cannot claim such facility just because of domicile/finding place in the voters' list of the constituency.
