We have received a notices from PF Department which mentioned below:-
Sub:- Compliance under the Employee's Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 and schemes framed thereunder reg.
As per the information laid before me through report submitted by Area enforcement officer, I have been that your establishment is engaged in evasion of the PF contribution as per the provisions of the act. Therefore, an enquiry u/s 7-A of the Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 has become necessary for assessment of dues.
However, before initiating enquiry u/s 7A of act for determination of Provident Fund dues, you are hereby given an opportunity to show cause within fifteen days of receipt of this letter as to why above action may not be initiated against you.
Please note that if no reply is received or the reply is not satisfactory, action shall be initiated any further notice.

The Charge is that "your establishment is engaged in evasion of the PF contribution as per the provisions of the act". You only have the best information / justification about the violations you have made. You may approach a Provident Fund Consultant for a reply draft, with the details given to you by the Enforcement Officer immediately after the inspection.
