As per interim order by Hon’ble Supreme court on dated 06.07.2018 “ESIC shall remain stayed until further order”.
In view of the order it is clarified that no ESIC contribution may be collected from the site workers and from their employers during the period of stay order.
My question is that in this view if permanent staffs who are posted in sites and some of in Regional office, their liability flows under Regional office as per payroll module.in both cases they are eligible for ESIC or Not.
