Hello, I was working with AMW motors, Mumbai from Jan 2017 to June 2017. Company used to pay half salary on monthly basis.
I resigned in May 2017, served 1 month notice, as per terms in Offer letter, upto June 2017.
I have more than 1 lac Full and Final settlement amount pending to be paid by AMW motors till date.
I followed up with HR, My Manager and CEO multiple times over phone, e-mail; however, no concrete response from any of them.
Please let me know what steps can be taken to make AMW motors company release my Full and Final settlement amount.
Thank you.

What was your designation in the company?
Did you not question the company on why only half pay was being disbursed?
Any proof of half pay?
Were other employees also getting half pay like you?
You miust now send a written communication to the company through Speedpost asking for your dues.
In the letter given full details of dues and give last date by which you expect the money.
If not done in time-Approach Labour officer or if not possible take legal action through an advocate.

What was your designation in the company? - Assistant Manager
Did you not question the company on why only half pay was being disbursed? - Yes, HR told that they forgot to inform me about Company position and regarding Employees getting less salary than their Actual salary
Any proof of half pay? - Bank statement
Were other employees also getting half pay like you? - Yes, all IT staff members getting half pay. Now situation is even worse, they are getting Full salary every 3 months.
I have sent multiple mails to Company HR - No reply. Over phone she always responded by saying that she is not sure when will Company release my F&F
When I didn't receive any response from HR, I sent mails to CEO of the Company requesting to release F&F - No response till date

If you think that the company is cheating on you, better approach the labour office.
If there are employees who are still happy with their job in that company, then please wait. They may be working towards some big goal and waiting for success to touch them

Being Assistant Manager by designation, he may not be in worker category and Labour Office will not intervene.
Legal action is the only way out.
It only shows the pathetic state of jobs in the economy when people are ready to work at half pay and wait for full pay to come later on.
Employees need to complain en masse and keep eye out for other job opportunities.

You may send a legal notice. Though you were given designation of Assistant Manager, were you actually supervising, controlling work, requisitioning materials, controlling stocks etc and had managerial powers and responsibilities. If you were not discharging such powers, you will have the remedy under the ID Act 1947, otherwise you will have to knock on the doors of Civil Court.
