Hi,
My company is not in a process of issuing Salary Slip on monthly basis. It is being issued only when a special requests are received and on approval from CEO. My query is isn't salary slip a basic right of all employees? Is there any act under which this case can be dealt at? Senior members, your comments will be valuable.
Thank you
Soni

1. Pay/salary slip compulsory either in hard copy or electronically , even in local language ... statutory requirement.
2. As such a payslip generated in form XIII as prescribed under Minimum Wages Act or Acts of State Govt. and pay slip is given in line with the as per the Payment of wages Act, 1936.

Salary Slip or Payslip is a statutory requirement for any organisation. If a company is not issuing payslips in paper/electronic formats, it is a clear case of non-compliance

Why raise legal query on such petty matter? How will employee know whether the calculation of gross, deductions & net salary is correctly done? Also it serves as proof on income in some case of loan seeking employees. Think beyond mere law!
