Dear All, To all here who is a part of citehr, i share my best wishes.
I have been working for 7 long years but then I am finding it difficult to survive or continue the job. I quit recently and I find myself clueless. I wish if some of you can come forward and extend me ideas of landing into a job again. I am not asking for opening. We have job portals for that. All I am asking if is an advice what suits best for me in my current situation.

what is your qualification?
What is your core interest?
what is the nature of work you are/were doing?
7 years is not a long period.
If you feel 7 years is a long period, probably you were in a job which you did not enjoy or was not working in a field which holds your interest.
You need to analyse yourself -interests, capabilities, qualifications.
There is never a perfect job?
One has to adjust, learn, grow in the job.
You must indeed examine what makes you unhappy in present job and then chalk out a career plan.

Thank You for the reply. I have post graduated with MBA in HR. After applying several jobs, I feel I am lacking in something which is why I don't get my applications viewed by the employers. I feel certifications and courses don't upgrade you but the experience we get from the companies help you land a job.
The moment we don't find a job, we are advised to learn more. But when we are interviewed, we aren't treated the same.
I have thought of all the questions you have raised in the post earlier but failed to answer them as its really difficult when the learning from the course and the company is too less that it downgrades your applicability for a job post.

He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is asleep! Let him be awakened.
You want answers to questions unasked!
You have an MBA in HR. Good! But that, like any other qualification, is not a certificate to getting a job. Hone your Employment Skills, your Soft and People Skills, as well as your Social Skills. The 7 year's experience is no key either. You have to become smart, feeling the peoples and environment's pulse and maneuvering your responses accordingly - in all forms of communication - to come up with appropriate and timely responses. Also work on your English Skills - remember , English is more than just a language today
