Dear Friends,
Last Wage month, We paid our ESI contribution through the "Other Bank" ) link on ESI website; it was paid through our HDFC corporate bank A/C with dual authentication. The payment was deducted from our account but not shown in ESI for 5 days. Finally on 15th Sep evening, the payment was reversed and we paid through alternative SBI account before the deadline. Now again I am going to remit ESI contribution and I am in a confusion whether to try it again though HDFC Bank (will it fail again like last time?)!
Does any one have any idea why the initial payment through HDFC bank failed? Has anyone experienced similar problems when paying though non-SBI banks?
Another thing I have noticed is that Links for payment of ESI through UPI, Credit Card, Debit Cards are not active on the site.
Is payment through SBI the only way to remit ESI contribution?
Am i doing something wrong because of which the payment is not reflected in ESI?
Please share your experience and advise.
