We are a IT company and our current strength is 22, of which 7 are trainees for 6 mths period whose salary is 15000 p.m., all other employees earn 25K and above. Is it obligatory to get our company registered under EPF and ESIC. Given once the traning period of the trainees is over their salary shall be revised to Rs. 30K p.m.Please Advice..

Yes It is required for any company employing 20 or more employees where as there is no specification given for registration under act about limit of salary. The specification of salary limit is available only for the purpose of contribution and not for the registration.
