Rahaman,
you can send ur ex employer legal notice through counsel demanding outstanding amount but it depends on the terms and conditions mentioned in the appointment letter executed at the time of your appointment.
for further info or any legal query you can call/mail me.

Mr Rahman,
1. have you contacted them for release of your payment? What was their reply? Reply was verbal or in writing?
2. Write a letter to them asking them to release your payment as you are in dire need of money. Ask them to pay immediately. Wait for 2 weeks for reply, if you do not get any reply, get in touch with some good advocate who handles service matters and move ahead as per his advice.

as per offer letter issued to me with a notice period of 30 Days, no appointment received from my previous employer. I serve a notice period of 20 days to complete handover & takeover responsibilities.

They can deduct the notice pay in lieu of period of ten days. but they have to give you the full n final settlement . i wonder why they didn't cleared it on your last day of working. many organizations asked for 45 days to clear the dues. be firm in your communication with them. also write them that if they didn't clear the dues you will go legal. send the letter by registered ad.
