Dear Seniors,
I am getting married in the month of Feb 08, and soon after in March 08 that my husband is going for onsite project for a year. So to stay alone here anyways not possible, but to leave a job wherein i m most comfortable may cose me problem when i will come back.
Kindly suggest is there a possibility that i can work in other countries, sothat my experience would be counted and at same time i will feel comfortable. if yes what are ways i can find the jobs out there?
Mostly we will be in South Africa or in Malaysia.
Seniors, please help to guide as this the only time i can decide whether to leave my company or to continue.
Thanks,
Payal

Hello Payal,
Congratulations!!
I do not have any idea of getting job at South Africa, but i do have ideas at Malaysia. It is bit easy at Malaysia provided you have strong HR - Generalistic experience. There are good companies who really maintain corporate culture and working with them is really awesome and enjoyable.
I strongly recommend. However, you may wait till you get a feel of that country and people's living.
Best of Luck!!

hi payal,
you can apply thru job portals..just search on google for HR jobs in malasyia...you would definitely come accross lot of job websites of Malasyia..
Also do check on net for the workpermit, whats the process, who is eligible etc.

Hello MsPayal
My suggestion is dont quit right away. Go on leave even though loss of pay. Check the environment over there. If nothing clicks, you can always come back.
The best option people now explore is B Visa where one can stay for two months. Your job is contact and family life also is fulfilled

Payal...most of the time for HR jobs, companies give preferences to local people (people from same country) but you can get HR jobs in other countries if you have any of the following skills:
1) Extensive experience in Recruitment and Talent Acquisition.
2) Experience in SAP-HR, PeopleSoft, Oracle HRMS.
3) Experience in Traning and Development of Teaching and
4) Experience in Compensation and Benefits.
I hope, this will help you.

Thanks Sanjeev,
I have around 4 years of experience in recruitment and even in core HR. I am worried if experience letter from companies can be considered, or just reliving from last employer will help to get something out there?
Thanks,
Payal

Regarding your experience, anyway they will do reference check so “experience” letter will be of no use. But yes, you need to carry relieving letter.
