Hi Arooj

Actually after interaction with the respective employee, the mgt and the respective employee will decide a particular goal which they wish to achieve.. So accordingly after fixing their goal and career time, we need to do a career planning for him/her.

For eg: An "X" employee is performing as Project Engineer with a few taks and for performing such tasks he/she has certain skills. Now the mgt and the "X" employee have decided that the "X" employee would be performing the role of a Project Manager within a span of 3 yrs which is the "X" employee career time..To achieve this he has to have certain skills and should be provided with such an opportunity... Like if as a P.E he is handling 5 pgts.... then when he becomes a PM he should be capable of handling around 50 pgts along with managing his subordinates...

Inorder to keep a track of these plans pertaining to an individual employee, I have drafted such a format and attached the same...

Hope now it is clear........

Thanks

Hi Sowmya,
Kindly clearify one more thing.
Is this the stand plan for all employees, if no then its ok but if yes then,
1. All employees in the company are not on the same step. Like it is not possible that all are on exploration phase/grooming phase/establishment phase.
2. it should possess from operative to the managerial ...
Level 1 operative
Level 2 supervision+operative
Level3 supervision
Level 4 managerial
This is what i think should be in there. Plan should be generalized.
following image is very helpful as well. I need your feed back....

The format which I have sent is for all the employees in the organisation. Actually our company is fixing some short term goals like 4 yrs or 5 yrs for each and every employee....
I have drafted one more format with some improvisations........
Kindly give ur feedback........
Thanks

Hi,
I am a new member.
One of the thng i do is to Train People on there Goal setting.
I happen to go thru the file attached below. I think it is very basic. It requires lot of focus. Like Purpose -objective -take away ( for you).
I know this might not be the relevent thing . However look for a Book called

Hi Sowmya,
If any single fill in case study would have been updated, then we could see the flow of working.
Now it just looks like 1 - 10 measuring stand or number of employee.
