Dear Suprovo,
You may calculate employee productivity on the following counts:
a) Revenue per person
b) % of Employee cost against Total Sales Revenue
c) Number of employees per bed
d) Ratio of Patients' Complaints (related to employees)
e) Number of inpatients : Number of compliments Ratio
f) Compliments per employee ratio
Other standard ratios are:
g) Employee Attrition
h) % of Recruitment Cost against total employee cost
g) Cost Reduction because of the employee training
h) Number of suggestions per employee
i) Cost reduction because of implementation of the suggestions by the employee
Hope the above ratios are more than sufficient. Other productivity ratio can be measured only if you institute comprehensive Performance Management System (PMS) in your company. Feel free to contact me if you wish to do that.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
