UAN will remain same, fill the same in form 11 with old company details and date of leaving, new employer will seed the old UAN in current account

Kindly clarify incase a member having two UAN one is created by old employer and other is created by present employer and after withdrawing the amount from OLD UAN then in that case whether old UAN is valid or not ? If you have any notification in this regard please provide to us.

@VTPLADMN
if the employee has withdrawn the EPF of old account and did not produced the old UAN to present employer for seeding, then what is the meaning or utility of linking of both?
in case the employee has some balance in old UAN, then the employee has to file transfer claim ( form 13), department will transfer the old balance to new generated UAN, and will close the old UAN

Sharmaji,
Thank you for your reply. Can you explain some more regarding double uan as our principle employer insisting to link with old UAN even after some employees withdrawn their pf amount.
is there any rule / notification regarding after withdrawing pf amount from old uan the validity of the same is NIL
Kindly help

TWO questions are mixed up
1) fresh generation of UAN , if there is any existing UAN, even fund withdrawn, should be offered for seeding with new employment, this will add the contributory "time span" to the member, for pension scheme
2) if TWO UAN is already generated, then file transfer claim from old to new, this will close the old UAN please go through the notification http://www.epfindia.com/site_docs/PD...UANs_16046.pdf
