dear sir,
i have been terminated from my job last week . it was by mistake i had sent 2months company data to my personal id so that i could complete a payment issue. now i have got a job in a bank and they are insisting on relieving letter . I had resigned on September and have a resignation acceptance letter. The data which was sent to my id has no financial benefit , it was a mistake. Please let me know what are the possibilities of getting a relieving and experience cetificate.

Dear Binup,
You say that your services were terminated and then also say that you have acceptance of resignation letter. These are contradictory statements.
Any way,you may visit your old place of work and request for the relieving letter and experience certificate.
You may offer verbal apology for your action and tell them you had no intention of misusing any data.
Tell them that you have suffered enough and seek their help.
Hope you succeed .

sir i had resigned on september 9th i had transferred the data on 27th of sep and after an enquiry i was given an resignation acceptance on 5th of october by my manager, but the very next day my hr had sent a show cause notice and i gave a reply and after that i got a mail stating that my explanation was not satisfactory and terminated my job. Should i move any legal procedures

Dear Binup,
I agree with the suggestion of Col. Rathi that you should approach the previous employer and express your sincere regrets for your Mistakes. It looks that you have acted over smartly in transferring some company's data to your personal mail for some ulterior motive, which has viewed seriously by the management. There is no point in moving legally as even if they give you the relieving letter under pressure, they are surely likely to mention the reasons as "termination on disciplinary grounds", which may put you in further problems in your present job.
As such, the best solution for you is to approach your previous employer and settle the issues amicably once for all.

Your resignation acceptance letter is your relieving letter as it must have mentioned your last working day.
