Hi Every One,
I have a marketing team ,and we are giving tablet to each and every person to do their job in the market, but for a security purpose management wants me to take their Original certificate from them ,so that one employee cant run away from the organisation with that tab.

Hi Sabnam,
Withholding the certificates of an employee is illegal. You can ask them to submit their original govt id proof and have their place of stay verified by a team, whether they stay in a rented place or they or their parents own the house. Also get their signature on the company letter head stating they have taken the company owned property for official purpose.
Please do include the technical specification of the tab, model, make, item code, etc. in the letterhead. By doing this the employee will not easily plan to abscond from the company with the company owned property. If he/she does then you should tag him/her "Dare Devil" :)

Hi Mahr,
Thank you so much for your great suggestion. It helps me a lot to manage this situation. But now a days its very easy to make a new address proof , any one can run away from the company by submitting their Id /Address proof also and later on he/she can make a new proof. Can I take a Cheque in this situation.

Hi Sabnam,
Preparing a new address proof is easy and that is exactly why we need to do a physical verification. If that employee stays in owned house, it is safe. By doing all these verification dramas, anyone will not think of absconding easily.
