I(Female) joined in IT company(small upto 100 emp) as BA in March 2016(as 5 year exp) and left on June end 2016. Company work environment was not good and also Owner behavior(with all employee, the way talk with female emp(bad behavior) as well as job security as anytime he can fire anyone) So I got afraid about my future and Left company on 23June 2016 with immediate email of resignation to HR and Due to personal reason I can not come office and accept my resignation(As i can not server 2 months notice period) and I joined another company without showing this 3 months experience.

In my current company there is no problem. But my last company kept asking me to join/server Notice period on mail and keep saying "server notice or else we will take legal action against you" and every time said to them that I can not come/join due to personal reason coz i do not wanted to tell then that i joined another company. Now last week they sent Notice for recovery notice period about to my Home address. After marriage i live with my husband and personally/officially I did not received that letter. Some how they do not have my current address. In notice there is a Advocate Stamp and rules/recovery amount etc.

So i wanted to know in this case what next legally they can do and should I acknowledge their letter? If yes then how? Being a girl I do not wanted to take this as harassment and all so I said personal reason and left and joined another company. I do not wanted all the mess with anyone. Or i should call them and say if you do any further action then I will send notice for harassment and behavioral issues to owner.?
Any legal answer would be helpful.

Madam
What was the notice period of earlier company?
The issue is is not serving notice period and not related to being lady.
Advice you to negotiate with the earlier company and close the affair as peacefully as possible. You are in a new company, they are not aware of earlier employment of 3 months and of this legal dispute.
They may not like the fact that your CV had hidden some information and employment of three months was hidden from them
What is the content of legal notice?
It was sent last know address or address as given by you when joining.
Do not treat it casually, but try to find a suitable settlement.
Legally you may be on weak wicket as you have left w/o notice and didn't follow resignation process fully.
Take a balanced view and act in a manner which keeps you comfortable and not facing a legal battle on a matter which you have not informed your current company.
